If you are not in position to help out with our campaign on the ground, fear not! You can still make a difference from the comfort of your couch, office chair or even when you’re out and about. Below you will find the email addresses to all the relevant representatives. It is important that we keep the pressure on those in positions of power so that they realise the level of passion and widespread concern there is in relation to the future of Castletown.

You will also find a template letter although if you have time to craft something personal that would have even more impact!

Please take 5 - 10 minutes whenever you can to send a mail to our representatives. Let’s keep the pressure on and let them no that we are not going away until this matter is finally put to bed and the Demesne is united and protected against ANY future development! You have a voice! Use it and together we can make a difference!

Councillors in particular will have major involvement in Local Area Planning (LAP). The current LAP is up for review in 2024. It is crucial that our councillors know that Uniting the Demesne is of paramount importance for the Constituents of North Kildare.

For the 950,000 plus annual visitors to the parklands.

We would like to seek clarity on your support for the below questions.

  1. Seeking the reunification of the demesne lands?

  2. Commit to keeping the demesne lands as open space and green belt amenity zoning?

  3. Commit to supporting the preservation of the historical landscape setting of Castletown demesne?

  4. Commit to not supporting a request to zone the land residential?

I hope this email finds you well.  I am writing to you as a concerned Celbridge community member with a sincere desire to see progress in achieving the unification of the land of Castletown. I would like to know what steps you are planning to take this week towards advocating for this significant cause?

I believe that your position as a public representative offers a great opportunity to spearhead positive change. Therefore, I kindly ask that you share with me the concrete measures and initiatives that you intend to pursue this week to further the cause of Castletown's unification.  

Your commitment and dedication towards this endeavor, will serve as an inspiration to others within our community.

With this in mind, I would appreciate it if you could shed light on any scheduled meetings or events related to the issue of in which you will be participating. This will allow community members like myself to engage and  contribute to support this vital cause.

I would like to thank you for your tireless service and commitment to our community. Your swift response to this email would be appreciated, it will help me to stay informed about actions being taken and share this valuable information within our network.
